This notice covers the Stereotype launch website at stereotypebrand.com and its email signup. Stereotype is operated by Stereotype Brand LLC. Contact us at hello@stereotypebrand.com about your information.

Information we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and information recording your subscription choice, including the signup source, consent wording and version, subscription status, and confirmation records. When you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message. Our hosting and email providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request or delivery logs, to operate and secure their services. When optional measurement tools are enabled, we also collect browsing and interaction information, such as pages viewed, signup requests, referring sites or campaign identifiers, and cookie or device identifiers. These tools may receive your IP address and browser information.

How we use it

We use your information to manage and confirm your subscription, send Stereotype marketing emails, including launch news, product updates, and promotions, respond to you, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. When enabled, we also use optional tools to understand website traffic, measure campaign performance, and show relevant Stereotype advertising. Your signup is for Stereotype communications only. It does not subscribe you to marketing for other brands.

Providers and sharing

We use Vercel to host this website and Klaviyo to manage subscriptions and deliver emails. Information is processed by these providers on our behalf and may be processed in the United States or other countries where they operate. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer, subject to applicable law. We do not sell our email subscriber list for money. Our website tags are not configured to send the email address you enter in the signup form to Google or Meta.

Optional analytics and advertising

When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics processes website activity and technical information to help us understand visits and signup requests. We do not enable Google signals or user-provided data collection for this launch website. Learn more about Google’s use of information from partner sites.

When advertising is enabled, Meta Pixel and Google Ads process website activity, campaign information, and browser or cookie identifiers to measure advertising and help us reach interested audiences. The providers may combine this information with information from their own services and other websites. This disclosure may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. See Meta’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

For visitors identified as being in the United States, analytics and advertising are on by default unless a saved choice or recognized privacy signal turns them off. Outside the United States, or when we cannot determine the country, optional tags stay off until you enable them. Vercel uses your IP address to determine the approximate country for these settings; we do not request your device’s precise location. We do not show an automatic privacy pop-up. Open “Privacy choices” in the footer to view or change the settings, including opting out of advertising-related sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Turning optional tools off does not prevent email signup.

We remember choices in this browser. Saved opt-outs remain off until you change them or clear browser storage. Saved permission to turn tools on expires after 180 days, after which those tools are turned off until you enable them again. You may need to set your choices on another browser or device. Turning a tool off stops future use of its tags in this browser; it does not undo information already processed.

Browser privacy signals

We treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to keep optional advertising off, even if an earlier saved choice allowed it. You can separately choose analytics. We do not separately respond to the older “Do not track” browser setting. Necessary hosting and signup processing continues as described in this notice.

Email measurement

Klaviyo may record delivery, opens, and link clicks to help us understand and improve our emails. Website privacy choices do not control email measurement. You can limit remote image loading in your email application or unsubscribe from marketing emails. Our emails may load Google Fonts, which can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details when your email application loads them.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. You can also contact hello@stereotypebrand.com to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing is free and does not require an account, a reason, or information beyond your email address and email preferences.

You can also use that address to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. We may need to verify your identity for these privacy requests; that verification does not apply to unsubscribing. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law, including a limited record needed to respect your unsubscribe choice.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining suppression records to respect unsubscribe requests, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website and signup are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the site or our practices change. We post revisions here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law before applying that change. Updating this notice does not itself subscribe you to other brands or authorize new marketing uses. See our Legal notice for information about use of this website.
